This book introduces us to Jin Shin Jyutsu, an ancient Japanese practice that balances your body’s energy by using the hands and fingers. Alice was taught this method by a Japanese master and was instructed to bring it to the United States.

Jin Shin Jyutsu is based on the concept of “cabling”, which holds that two points on the body are connected by touch. Once these points have re-established an energy connection, information can once again flow at the cellular level.  This allows for healing to occur. I find this a particularly effective treatment for muscle and joint issues, though with more in-depth training all manner of illness can be addressed.

Jin Shin Jyutsu can be carried out as an empowering self-care method, which is ideal as there are no appointments necessary! It’s also a beautiful way to care for another person. I often assign sequences to clients as homework, since it works perfectly with other energy healing modalities.
